Redefining a financial information bureau´s brand identity.

Situation

Cifín was the Financial Information Bureau that was part of the Banking Association of Colombia (Asobancaria). At the end of 2012, it was established as an independent entity and they needed to create a strong brand that would position the organization in the field of intelligent information management.

Solution

Marqas developed a brand strategy positioning Cifín as a facilitator of business decision making, emphasizing its qualities as an expert, flexible and visionary company. We simplified the brand architecture and we defined clearer and more consistent names for their products and services. Marqas created a new name —Aqura— that synthesizes the concepts of accuracy, certainty and efficiency. We also developed a new visual identity that represents a renewal of the original brand identity.
